The Greater Lansing Orchid Show (GLOS) is scheduled for February 25 and February 26, 2011.  Carol Stuht is currently sending our information to artists who are interested in participating. She will be sending out more information in late November or early December.  At that time, intrerested artists will be requested to let her know of their intentions to  enter or not to enter the show. CYBERSPACE I COMPETITION

January 2012 the University Art Gallery and the Saginaw Valley State University Art Department is hosting "Cyberspace I Competition," a juried digital fine arts competition open to artists within the state of Michigan.

The exhibition dates are January 9 - February 4, 2012, with a public reception on Thursday, January 19 from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

The exhibition is open to any Michigan artist using a digital imaging device such as a digital camera or scanner and/or digital imaging program in the creation of their work. Artwork should be created with a fine art rather than a commercial emphasis and must be professionally framed and ready to hang. No works requiring a computer or other electronic device for display will be accepted at this time. Entries cannot be larger than 6 ft. in any dimension. Cash prizes will be awarded. Exhibit Opportunities

CMH Building
Exhibit opportunities are available for artists interested in exhibiting at the Community Mental Health Building. The CMH office is located at 812 E. Jolly Road, and our artwork is exhibited in a high-traffic hallway on the main floor of the office. Each exhibitor may hang up to 4 pieces, and is responsible for hanging their own artwork.
